Care Instructions & Disclaimer

Dear Customer we want you to enjoy your purchases as much as we have enjoyed growing them.
Here are some handy tips to help you keep your plants, Shrubs, bushes, trees and grasses alive and in tip top condition for many years to come.
Once you get your plants home put in a shady area and water and leave to rest. When you are ready to plant out make sure you have prepared your soil, firstly taking note of the type of soil you have in your garden I.e , sandy ,acid or alkali ,ask your garden centre representative for advice to help you with the best start for your plants 🌱. unlike Europe the growing season in Thailand is all year round , however, growing slows down at certain times of the year (your garden centre representatives will tell you what time of year you are purchasing in).

  1. Plants and bushes will need watering twice a day until they are established (hold the hose pipe on the surrounding area for a count of five) to ensure good watering .
  2. for new lawns – in Thailand it is an absolute must that you lay a layer of coconut mulch on top of the prepared soil (and water it for at least one hour) before laying a new lawn, otherwise lawns here will dry out and die in the first few weeks. You MUST water a new lawn every 2-4 hours for the first week, then 3 times a day for a further three weeks ( NO fertilizer or cutting of the new lawn is required in the first month) LET IT GROW and become established.
  3. Failure to adhere or follow care instructions for your plants etc as instructions above lie solely with the purchaser.
  4. If you feel your plants etc may have died through disease or no fault of your own after following care instructions please contact us directly and we will endeavor to help at Big Buddha discretion.
  5. PLEASE NOTE : When customers buy and take care of their order by themselves and do not use recommended soil and coconut mulch for growing lawn Big Buddha Garden CANNOT accept responsibility many thanks 🙏
